DESCRIPTION & BRIEF

Our client wanted to end a year with a big bang, so they hired our agency to prepare the New Year’s Eve celebration from the ground up. What we did?

We have transformed the last day of the year in Hilton Prague into extraordinary New Year’s Eve party with the dinner. This premium event had 7-hour long program on multiple floors of the hotel.

OBJECTIVE

What we aimed to do with our show? Promote that one of the biggest Prague hotels is not only as place to stay, but a place to enjoy. Our goal is to extend few fading seconds of New Year’s Eve celebration into unforgettable night long spectacle for all the guests, who choose to spend the last day of a Year in a Hilton… Only to tear everything down and clean up by the morning, so the guests who arrive the very next day didn’t have a chance to see what they have missed.

CREATIVE IDEA

Theme of Hilton NYE 2014 was “Vive la France”, and we made it crystal clear with 16 meters high Eiffel’s tower replica (it was also a disguised firework) placed directly in the hotel lobby. Its smaller counterpart was made of ice and placed on the hotels roof with champagne bottles frozen inside, symbolizing France and celebration.

“The Arc de Triomphe” served as a base for multimedia stage. With a help of LED lightshow, tailor made costumes and choreography guest could seamlessly witness the theft of Mona Lisa by Pink Panther, or glimpse under the skirt of Moulin Rouge, just to slow down a bit and enjoy melodies of live “Hlavsa Orchestra” in a breaks for reception.

Paris is also streets, so when guests walked in a hotel they encountered caricaturists, street performers playing on buckets and pots and animators styled as French celebrities. For those wishing to balance 2014 in calmly fashion we build surreal display of French art inspired by the “Phantom of the Opera” in the rooftop bar.

CREATIVE IDEA

These events are part of the long term strategy to show Hilton is not only place to sleep, but also place to really stay in – even during one of the biggest days of the year. Client is 100% positive that we are delivering the promise, and that is why we are agency of choice for 6th time in a row.

It is becoming more complicated to came up with „bigger“ creative concept for better party without the risk of damaging the luxurious hotel facilities, or the reputation. This time we pushed limits of the hotel space with the biggest stage and the longest program so far – on the lasts year’s budget.

Coming out with a fresh idea after 7 years we are doing it… was a challenge. And it will certainly be next year. Let’s see how much creative juice we had!
